smoky days and mosquito bites…

During our stay at the condo so far, there has been no air conditioning. Because there is lots of wind, it has not been a big deal, but last night during and after dinner, we noticed a bigger problem- mosquitoes and flies! The flies all came in after smelling the bacon and the mosquitoes came along with them! We had a killing frenzy in here… We had candles going and we were covered with mosquito spray.

Then, this morning, we woke up to a very smoky condo…. it was from the Okeechobee wildfires. Florida has been very hot and windy which is causing them. Grayson wasn’t too happy- the smoke was making him sick, but after a few hours, the smoke cleared and we went to the beach. We were only there for a bit because it started to sprinkle outside.

This is a few hours after it all cleared up. It was still cloudy and rainy though:

And Grayson also came up with the bright idea for me to take videos! My camera takes pretty good videos, so I thought it would be fun to put them on here… each video is a few minutes long. They are just silly ones of Ashlyn and Grayson swimming.

I was having technical problems uploading them, so I had to make a Youtube account to put them on there. I also had to lessen the quality of the video, but oh well. Here one is for now… if you listen closely, you might hear a little shout out =) :

Update: We just spotted a lonely dolphin! It was hard to find it in my camera viewfinder, but at least I got the fin! HEHE. Here ya go:
