Yesterday we spent the evening together at the “historic” downtown Ft. Pierce Marina. I love it down there during the evening- the low sun and breezes make for a nice trip. We got there around 6 and ate dinner/dessert at my favorite shop, Java Charlies!

Afterwards, we walked down to the ledge to watch the intracoastal waters. It felt SO good outside- I could have sat there for hours! There were people up there reading and talking with friends and family. The kids had fun throwing rocks and laying on the ledge looking for crabs and such.

Then, we walked down past the Tiki Bar restaurant and looked at the boats. One guy was really nice and let the kids and Uncle Marcus get a tour of his yacht… they had a lot of fun doing that!

Hello family (visiting here right now and in Texas)!

There are some pictures I thought I would share some of the pictures I have taken!

Before I start, I just thought I would tell yall about the new button over there on the right hand side under “buy my photos.” I just thought one day that I would put my photos on this site that I have heard of. They pick the prices for you, and most of my photos were too small to be anything except for a greeting card (and some not even that so I couldn’t add them), but who knows who will find them.  I still need to add more.

And, I also have a new button on the right that you can subscribe to the blog by getting an e-mail when it is updated.  SO, I don’t have to e-mail you and you don’t have to keep checking even when I don’t update. =)

First of all, me and Whitney “re-modeled” the room- we just needed a change, so we did! =) Here are some pictures of it:

Next:

On Sunday, we went to the beach in Vero to let the kids go boogieboarding. It was a pretty day, but the seaweed had washed up to shore and was really gross. SO, when the kids were going out there, they were really grossed out! =) Here are LOTS of pictures for yall! If you want to download them (Uncle Marcus/Aunt Stella), you just right click them and click “Save image as.” Well, here you go! (Again, there is alot!):

The kids when they first went out there. They were so excited. When Noah saw the water, he said, “It is sooo pretty!” It was cute!

They got those boogie boards and ran right back out! They were hardly out of the water!

Seawood monster! He kept coming out of the water with seaweed all over his face and hair. =)

Finally all on a wave! (Love Ashlyn’s expression…)

Nana and Grandad came too to enjoy the ocean!

Then they found that the seaweed doesn’t have to be their enemy…

…and that was it! =)

Then last night we all had hamburgers at Nana and Grandad’s house. Today, while dad and Uncle Marcus went to the west coast fishing for tarpon, all of us (besides Nana and Grandad) went to Superplay down the street to go bowling. It was a lot of fun. Don’t ask who won… Okay, fine! It was me! =) hehe. Afterwards, the kids played a game of Laser Tag and then we went to Panera Bread to eat a yummy healthy meal! My favorite!!!

If y’all want to find out what happened with the fishing experience, well, they didn’t “catch” anything, per se, but dad almost caught a 150 pound tarpon but it broke off after a big fight… ALSO, a 15 foot hammerhead shark circled their boat! CREEPY! Those are the coolest sharks though!

Hey everyone! I thought I would update yall with some photos! =) Not much has gone on lately… we are just taking things one day at a time and enjoying every minute of the calm.

We have been the the beach every week, once a week, so far. These are some beach photos from those times:

Oh how wonderful it was to hang out at the Costa D’Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach, Florida! We crammed in everything we possibly could in two days! =) Let me explain…

So Desirae came over at 10am and we had pancakes (Whitney style). Then off we went for our mini-lovely-vacation! We took a detour to get some snacks and water and back on the road again we go! So, on the way to Vero (which we have been plenty of times), I had the map and confused Whitney at the exit… no more words needed, except that it was the MAP’S FAULT for making us basically make a 20 minute U-Turn back to where we were GOING TO get off at in the first place. =) Seriously though, Google Maps needed an update.

Anyway, on our way to Vero, we saw Panera Bread (our all-time fav) and stopped bye for some soup and sandwiches. I had fun people watching there. =) Next:

OK, so we find ourselves in downtown Vero, a few hours before check-in. Sooo… we do what any normal girl does- walks on the sidewalks to look at the shops. We found a bench and a cute little place for a spa:

Next, we go to Cravings for icecream. It is such a cute shop!

So then, we finally go and check in… it took a few minutes while they “inspected” the room for us. We waited on the couches whilst smelling the sweet insense. HEHE

We were escorted to our room. When we got there, we took a tour of the room and jumped on the bed (sorta).

Here is Desirae playing around and giving us a “tour” of the room. The first part got cut off, but oh well. =)

We went downstairs and sat on the beach. When we came back, our feet were sandy and the tile was cold, so we soaked our feet in the tub. I watched the Mavericks LOSE.

THEN, we started getting primped up for dinner.

We had a surprise phone call from Aunt Camille… she looked up the hotel and asked to be transferred to our room. It was nice to hear a familiar voice! =) So, we were getting dressed up- I did Desirae’s hair and she did my make-up. We took a series of photos (I set the timer for 15 seconds and it took 10 shots at a time).

We went down to fancy dinner at the Oriente and saw a band by the pool. We people watched as we ate with the wrong forks and knives. =) The food was good too!

We had the grand idea of going swimming at night, so back upstairs to change. We noticed in the elevator that there was a mirror at the top, so we took a picture:

When we jumped in the pool, no one was in there (surprisingly), until we saw the sign that said “from dawn to dusk.” Oh well, no one bothered us and it was JUST then getting darker outside. SOOO…. me and Desirae swam, jumping back from the pool to the hottub while Whitney relaxed on the chairs. By the way, me and Desirae ended up having the same bathingsuit. =)

Here is a video of us playing around…. I hate listening to my voice, but oh well. =) OH, and we were JUST KIDDING about the bar thing. You all should know that by now. =)

When we got back to the room, I was getting tired! We watched TV for a bit, sat out on the balcony with a blanket (it was windy!), and then I dropped like a fly.

Next morning: woke up and went for a walk on the beach.

Then, we came back and ordered our breakfast “in bed.” Desirae called for them to bring it up to us- sooo… after figuring out if we tip or not when they bring it up to us (lol), a girl brought it up and set it up for us: blueberry pancakes, mangos, bagel, and a coffee pot. They brough us cute jars of maple syrup and honey. So we enjoyed that.

We enjoyed the rest of our hour or so in the room, cleaning up, watching a bit of HD (high definition) TV (so clear that I was getting dizzy), and getting dressed to go to the beach.

We left and went to our regular beach at Round Island. It was nice and beautiful and no one was there because it was Monday morning! So me and Desirae went swimming for a minute (it was pretty cool water).

Soooooooo…. that concludes our trip. We came back home and it was over! It was such a nice vacation! Back to reality, however! =)

Wow- yesterday was a long day! We traveled down to Boca Raton (a realllly cute town, I must add!) and got to look at the beautiful inlet before going to meet up with our fellow graduates at FAU. I was really anxious, however, just knowing that President Brogan was going to let my secret identity of being 18 to everyone I am graduating with. =) Hehe.

Anyway, we got to meet up with our friends from the Treasure Coast campus of FAU and get a few pictures with them. Me and Whitney ended up being one of the last in line (how did that happen) to graduate.

So, I was sooo nervous when he called my name- the last thing I wanted to do was stand up- but later he called Whitney’s name to stand up with me, and I felt a little better. HAHA.

Afterwards, we had a nice big linner (lunch/dinner) at Abe and Louie’s in Boca. It was really nice and we had great food, all in a quiet restaurant! Grayson and Dad tried Swordfish and Ashlyn tried Lobster. By the way, they have the best Apple Pie ever! =) The highlight of the dinner was when dad and mom suprised me and Whitney with a stay at an AWESOME beach resort with our friend Desirae after she graduates on Saturday! =) I will definitely add pictures from that!

I will add some pictures of graduation later… dad has them on his camera.

It took me a while to post this, but here we go!

Anyway, a few days ago, we went to the beach to hang out. It was so nice and pretty outside! As we looked out in the water, we saw about 15 spinner sharks jumping into the air throughout the time we were there. It was so neat! Here are a few photos of our time…
